The Cards

Eight Designs started as a gift of stationery for my prolific letter writing Mom and to convince my Pop I really am using my education!

The quotes chosen for these note cards are meant to inspire, motivate or bring a smile. After choosing the quote and working out the graphics, the heat transfer process is similar to silkscreening - creating a similar visual and tactile effect - but is easier on the environment.

Every card is handmade and quality checked but may have slight differences in color and/or stitching making each unique.

The Name

"Eight Designs", is who I am and what I do - I'm the youngest of eight and I design. 

Except when I'm researching the amazing people behind the quotes. Or I'm running trails in the East Bay, past the windsurfers at Chrissy Field or cycling down the Pennisula or over the Golden Gate Bridge in the hills of Marin.

Plenty of time to find more inspiration while I'm attempting to surf but mostly paddling at Stinson, Bolinas or Pacifica beaches.

Mixed in with a little but hoping for more yoga - was at Satori then Dharmaspace, next studio still tbd. - all with a few other assorted distractions that I use to keep me busy in beautiful San Francisco.
